[29 Nov 2004|09:59pm] I'm back! Been gone for 6 days, and it's really hard to go throught that many days of eljay. If you could give me a synopsis of the past few days, that'd be awesome hint: someone actually do it. All I did in Florida was eat a lot, sleep, went swiming once, read The Sirens of Titan, listened to the Elliott Smith CD Wenjaaaang let me borrow (it's good), played some cards, sat on the beach. My mom is depressed and doesn't want to decorate for Christmas, which is so unlike her. She used to get really excited and would go crazy at Christmas, but my uncle is dying and stuff so I think I'll do it this year. It makes me really sad that she's sad. I miss everyone a lot. Captain Planet, he's the hero... [19 Nov 2004|10:58pm] [ mood | pretty ok ] [ music | Appleseed Cast- Steps & Numbers ] Got back from Crossroads a while ago. Brian's band was great, and I got a mean smoothie, and I got to see Ky, John, Erin, and the ever-lovely chris pollard and sexxxy wenjing. I knew everyone there except for one guy who had on a maroon sweater. I'm on a quest to find out who he is, so if you know, tell me! He looked like a cool guy and believe you me, there weren't a lot of cool people there. Our refrigerator is full of diet drinks. Bring on the cancer. I can't wait til dinner on Monday! Lettie is coming now, which will be really cool because I want to get to know her. Everytime I've talked to her, she's been so nice so it will be cool to have her. We're having tofurkey, cranberry sauce, chinese noodles, and other stuff I don't know about. I'm supposed to bring desert, but Lihn's bringing cake, so maybe I'll bring green bean casserole or something. Not stuffing though; I don't like that stuff (no pun intended). Any ideas? It's Wenjing's fist thanksgiving (even though she's been here since the 5th grade), so it has to be extra special. It's not exactly traditional (as you can see), so I'm up for anything WITHOUT MEAT. I danced in front of Sherwin Williams. They were playing wierd music. I was way cool. We didn't analyze music today in first. I did all that work for nothing; I could have put it off for another week. I did get to touch Aaron's arm though. Sweet. I really need to cut back on the sentence fragments. The vegetarian luncheon went great today! Biggest tun out yet! I served eggplant and pita and hummus ans sometimes greek salad, and wenjing kept getting more food for different people (or herself; look at her, FATTY) and I got to stand next to Brian so it was cool. Afterwards Aileen, Wenjing, Lettie, and I pigged out on the good fake meat stuff that Lettie got. The pad thai was really really good (as always) and I liked the spring rolls though I don't think anyone else did. Tommorow I think I was invited to a party, so I might go to that. If not, I'll be sitting at home watching IFC (if it's still there) and watching movies. I leave for Florida on Tuesday. [18 Nov 2004|09:18pm] I made a lead sheet for Music Theory for Such Great Heights (Iron & WIne's version) to give to my class for analysis. We had to pick a song (I picked two, I'm bringing the original version as well) and bring the music and a lead sheet for the class. I think I did a really good job. [17 Nov 2004|09:08am] [ mood | cheerful ] [ music | CLARINETS! ] (What happened yesterday afterschool.) I'm in speech right now. We are listening to delightful classical music. Oh man, I just realize how lovely my first period is. Music theory is getting better, and after not sitting with Andrew McDonald anymore, it's been a whole lot more fun. Nathan and Aaron are more fun than Andy Mac, plus, I'd totally do Aaron. Today we ae toffee and I finished a test and we listened to a bunch of music, including Metallica. Way fun. Navah's lover was being a really big nerd today and he's just weird. I think I'm going to do something with music when I grow up. So I'm supposed to researching a speech on why my class should get educated on sex. I wanted to hand out condoms, but that was turned down. JAM OUT, YO! [05 Nov 2004|09:25pm] [ mood | lovely! ] [ music | Old Piano- Frou Frou ] oh man, I just realized how free I feel! I didn't realize how badly Austin was keeping me down! Oh man, I can do whatever I can do now and flirt with people freely and go to club meetings and not feel obligated to be everywhere he is. I had really bad withdrawl with other guys; I still wanted to be around them, but man, if I don't see Austin at all, I couldn't care (though I do because I love Lizzy). I have multiple crushes and lots of shoes and an off-campus permit and jesus candles and I've sold 2 tickets to the veg luncheon already and I'm going to volunteer at the Abouretum and I'm tabling with Phillip and Brian on Tuesday and I have SHane's belt and Brian's hat and I might be grounded at my dad's, but damn, I feel awesome. Anyway, here's my day (BREAK IT DOWN!): 1. Theory- I made up a jammin' song on the Xylophone that I shared with Nate and Aaron. 2. Speech- Watced DAy After Tomorrow. I HAVE TO SEE THE END! Jake Gylenhaal is, like, way cute. 3. English- Talked to Rodgpier(sp?) and read the TPP. Proof-read Kendall Treece's research paper. Walked down the hall with Nathan Atamar and Rodgey-doodles. 4. US History- talked to the USH Gang as usual. Today consisted of me spilling Nerds everywhere, not doing my work, and loving Joanna's vagina. Awesome. Lunch- Was going to go off-campus with Brian and Phillip, but we didn't, so we will on Monday. Went and sat with Giovanna, Marko, Paula, and Clement and watched the Jazz Combo. Wenjing is HAWT. Danced to the music and wrote Amirah a love letter. Tried to get Wenjing to dance, but I failed. 5. Guitar- Hid from Mr. Moore in the little walkway from the courtyard to the T-buildings with Brian. Swapped stories and determined we're having an Amiele/ The Godfather movie get together thing. 6. Chemistry- Took the easy test, walked out of class and talkd to rodpier again. Went back in and talked to Andy Phillps about his dad (he's a pastor). 7. Algebra- Went to the pep rally and sat next to SArah Welch. Oh man, she's so cool. We booed people and danced, it was way awesome. Afterschool- SAt in the desert with my favorite Asians (Aileen, Wenjing, and of course, Tracy). Tomorrow I'm going to play with them. [01 Nov 2004|08:51pm] Umm today was my first driver's ed class. Michael Foster, The Ruth Twins (Brandon and Amanda), The Kid With The Moose Crossing Shirt From Lunch, and James Brown From Down The Street are in there. The J is massive. Thems like there community centres large and Jewish. I learned lots of fun and interesting things like how the different shapes of signs mean different things!!! I'm car-pooling with James and I think he was hitting on me, but I'm not exactly sure what that entails, for I don't get hit on much by guys. It's mostly girls. He wants me to go to YoungLife with him. What a laugh and a half. He's not that bad, it's just that he's a fish (He turns 16 in May) and he's really chatty. Last night, Zackie ran off and Aileen couldn't get me, so I went ot dinner with Zach's parents. I just blew up a condom, haha. This morning, I left their house at 10:30 and haven't been back since. Nathan and Erin picked me up. WeLater we went to get The Lama (Adrian). We went to Retropolis and I got an awesome lacket. Erin had to go, so Adrian, Nathan and I went to the Galleria and saw Brandon Pond and Nathan humped e in the glass elevator while I was laying on the ground of it. I'm at Beth's right now.
